Minister Rivera gave his life to the Messiah when he was only 22 years old in Iglesia de Dios del Séptimo día (Church of God of the 7th Day) in Paterson, New Jersey (known today as:  Congregation of Yahweh).
On March 1974 he married Rosa N. Ramos and has been blessed with two sons (Josué y David) and a daughter (Rosita).
In January 1977, he was ordained as pastor of Iglesia de Dios del Séptimo Día in Middletown, New York.
In March 2006 he was ordained as full-time Pastor of Congregation of Yahweh in Paterson New Jersey.
During these thirty-two years Minister Rivera has held several positions for this honorable congregation, such as:  Missionary, Pastor, Teacher, Conferencist, and leader.  We understand that Yahweh has been his strength throughout the many years of service and his family's support as well.  May the Heavenly Father bless Minister Rivera and his family and continue to give them the strength, love and health they need to continue working and fighting the good fight.
